Luther Stunkle
Born Point of Rocks May 1892, lived in Brunswick, inducted in the U. S. Army 9/26/1917. Rank Private First Class, First Army 5th Corps, 79th Division, Co L 313 Infantry. Served in France, Marbache Sector, St Mihiel, Meuse-Argonne 5/19/1918-5/6/1919. Was gassed during the conflict. Effects of mustard gas plagued him after his return from France and for the remainder of his life.
