George Washington Wenner, Jr., 83, of 605 W. 
Potomac Street, Brunswick, Md., died Tuesday, 
November 22, 2005 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. 
He was born January 28, 1922 in Frederick, Md., 
the son of George Washington Wenner, Sr. and 
Violet Hickman Wenner.     
     He was a retired engineer 
with the B&O Railroad with 41 years of service. He 
was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic 
Church and The Knights of Columbus. He was a 
veteran of World War II serving the US Army Air 
Forces. 
     He is survived by four 
daughters, Mary Calhoun Rice and husband Calvin of 
Silver Spring, Md., Sally Ann Lachina and husband 
Tim of Cleveland, Ohio, Therese Pearrell and 
husband David of Knoxville, Md., Bridget Wenner 
and husband Jody Williams of Harpers Ferry, W.Va.; 
three sons, George W. Wenner III and wife Katryn 
of Glen Bernie, Md., Michael Wenner of Brunswick, 
Md., and John Joseph Wenner of Brunswick, Md.; a 
sister, Evelyn McLane of Brunswick, Md.; and six 
grandchildren and one great grandson. 
     He was preceded in death 
by his parents and his wife of 53 years, Clara 
Calhoun Wenner. 
A mass of Christian burial will take place 
Saturday, November 26, 2005 at 10 a.m. at St. 
Marys Catholic Church at Petersville, Md. with the 
Rev. Fr. Larry Gesy and Deacon Teixeira.
