He
was born,
November
9, 1920.
He was the
son of the
late
Fairfax M.
Miskell
and
Genevieve
M.
Stallings
Miskell.
He
served in
the U.S.
Navy
during
World War
II on the
USS
Louisville,
where he
earned 13
Battle
Stars.
He worked
for the B
& O
Railroad,
as an
engineer,
for 39
years.
He
was a
member of
the
American
Legion,
Moose
Club, and
Eagles
Club of
Brunswick.
He liked
to hunt,
fish and
go
crabbing
with his
friends.
Jesse
is of the
Methodist
faith.
He is
survived
by his
wife of 59
years,
Ethel I. "Diddie"
Miskell;
three
sisters,
Dora Athey,
of
Frederick,
Virginia
Campbell,
of Charles
Town,
W.Va., and
Madeline
Pearl, of
Jefferson;
two
brothers,
William
Miskell,
of
Damascus
and
Richard
Miskell,
of
Hampstead;
and a
number of
nieces and
nephews.
He
was
preceded
in death
by a
daughter,
Cheryl
Miskell
Johnson;
two
sisters,
Catherine
Mohr and
Anna
Eigenbrode;
three
brothers,
Luther
Miskell,
Birtrand
Miskell
and
Charles
Miskell.
Funeral
services
will be
held 11
a.m.
Thursday,
Dec. 27 at
Bast
Funeral
Home in
Boonsboro.
The Rev.
Ernest
Witmer
will
officiate.
Burial
will be in
Mountain
View
Cemetery.
Family
will
receive
friends
from 6 to
8 p.m.

at the
funeral
home
