     Mr. Gerald “Jerry” L Taylor 69 of Frederick, MD died Sunday December 11, 2005 at Kline Hospice House.  He was the husband of Ruth V Martin.

     Born January 18, 36 in Brunswick, MD he was the son of Ernest H and Ruth E Thomas Taylor

Mr. Taylor was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, hiking and ice skating.  He served his country in the U. S. Marine Corp.

     Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters Christine Lash and husband William and Linda Staudenmeier and husband Robert, all of Frederick, three grandchildren Alexis Staudenmeier, Jason and Morgan Lash, two brothers Kenneth Taylor of Emmitsburg and Donald Taylor of Middletown, and two sisters connie Grams of Rosemont and June Palmer of Middletown.

     The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 East Main Street, Thurmont, MD on Tuesday December 13, 2005 from 6-8 PM, where services will be held Wednesday December 14, 2005 at 2 PM, with the Rev. Ron Reeves officiating.

     Interment in Blue Ridge Cemetery, Thurmont, MD
