As originally published on Monday, July 11, 2005. Mr. Gene "Bob" R. Stull, 69, of Frederick, died on Friday, July 8, 2005 at University of Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Dorothy A. Stull. Born on March 9, 1936 in Frederick County, he was a son of the late James W. and Emma G. (Ausherman) Stull. Mr. Stull was a member of Parkway Community Church of God , Frederick. He was employed for 27 years with Eastern Airlines and later with the Frederick County government, from where he retired. He devoted his life to his family. He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army, was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Eagles Lodge, both of Brunswick. He was an enthusiastic NASCAR and sports fan. Surviving besides his wife are one daughter, D. Jean-Marie Creighton and husband Bruce of Ijamsville; one granddaughter, Mackenzie Brooke Creighton; two step-grandchildren, Krista Renee Creighton, Jonah Lee Creighton; one sister, Darlene Morsberger of Brunswick; his mother-in-law, Alverta Carty of Frederick; a special great-niece and great-nephew, Jessica Morsberger and Jared Morsberger; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, James W. Stull. Family will receive friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, on Tuesday, July 12, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. David L. Meador officiating. Interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick. Pallbearers will be Randy Morsberger, Kenny Morsberger, Mike Morsberger, Troy Twentey, Blaire Ogle and Chad Ogle.
