Mr. Floyd Bradley Smith, 72, of 529 West 'B'
Street, Brunswick, died Monday, Jan. 26 at his
residence.
Born Aug. 13, 1931, in Brunswick, he was the son of the
late Eugene Bradley Smith and Freda Spurrier Smith.
He was a retired auto body mechanic with Jenkins
Motors in Frederick with 25 years of service.
He was a member of New York Hill United Methodist
Church at Brunswick, Petersville Ruritan Club and life
member of e Brunswick Volunteer Fire Department.
Mr. Smith was a veteran of Korean War serving in the
U.S. Army.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Patricia Ann
Smith, at home; a daughter, Lisa Kay Smith, at home;
two sons, Steven Bradley Smith and wife Cindy of
Dunmore, Pa., and Paul Eugene Smith, at home; one
brother, Lee L. Smith and wife Duane of Ellicott City;
and six grandchildren.
He also will be remembered by Robin Brady of Point of
Rocks; and Allen and Ernestine Phillips of Brunswick.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday,
Jan. 31 at New York Hill United Methodist Church,
Brunswick. The Rev. Clark D. Carr will officiate.
Interment will be in Marvin Chapel Cemetery, Mount
Airy.
The family will receive friends at John T. Williams
Funeral Home, 100 Petersville Road, Brunswick, on
Thursday, Jan. 29 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, Jan. 30
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
