Mr. Clarence Frederick Love, 78, of Brunswick, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, at his residence.

Born Jan. 14, 1931, in Elk Garden, W.Va., he was the son of the late Ernest Bernard Love and Mary Glass Love.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Burkittsville. He was a retired lineman with Potomac Edison Co. He was a veteran of the Korean War, U.S. Army Signal Corps Cpl. He was also a member of VFW Post 10421 of Brunswick, Loyal Order of the Moose 1582 of Brunswick, and Jackson-Perks Post 71 of the American Legion, Charles Town, W.Va.

He is survived by one daughter, Julie Beachley of Knoxville; two stepdaughters, Norma Smith of Gapland and Nancy Anders of Kansas City, Kan.; one stepson, Norman Potter of Smithsburg; two sisters, Twilia Lawless of Florida and Shirley Moreland of Scheer, W.Va.; 16 stepgrandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Virts Love; one half brother, James Love; one stepson, David Potter, and one sister, Nancy Burkins.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 20, at John T. Williams Funeral Home, 100 Petersville Road, Brunswick, with the Rev. Kimberly Nunberg officiating. Interment will be in the Reformed Cemetery, Knoxville.
