     Mr. Harry Clinton King Jr., 84, of Braddock Heights, died on Monday, Jan. 7, 2008, at the Golden Living Center, in Frederick. Born in Brunswick, on July 28, 1923, he was a son of the late Harry Clinton Sr., and Esther May Stottlemyer King.
     Mr. King proudly served his country in the United States Army, 13th Armored Black Cat Division, during WWII.--He was retired from the government as a general engineer, having worked at Fort Detrick. After his retirement, he worked for C.A. Bud King-- Plumbling and Heating.
     He was a life-member of Braddock Heights Fire Company, VFW John R. Webb Post 3285, Frederick, Francis Scott Key American Legion Post 11, and was life-member and past Governor of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1582, Brunswick.
     Surviving are his two brothers, Kenneth E. King Sr., and wife, Blanche, of Frederick, and Earl M. King and wife, Virginia, of Walkersville, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
     He was preceded in death by a brother, John B. King and a sister, Hilda M. Poole.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m., on Thursday, Jan. 10, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 11, from the funeral home. The Rev. Dr. W. Philip Fogarty, will officiate. Interment will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
