Mr. James Giles

James Edward "Gig" Giles, 85, of Lovettsville , Va. , and formerly of Brunswick , died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2008, at his home.

He was born Aug. 22, 1923, in Brunswick , to Charles Henry and Alice Monroe Giles.

He was employed by the Loudon County School Board.

Gig is survived by a daughter, Vanassa A. Giles of Lovettsville , Va. ; devoted loved one, Mary C. Moten of Lovettsville , Va. ; devoted companion, Kenneth G. Watkins of Lovettsville , Va. ; and a host of nieces and nephews and relatives and friends.

A viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, at Lyles Funeral Chapel, Purcellville , Va. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, at the funeral home.
