92, of
Brunswick,
passed
away on
Tuesday,
September
4, 2007 at
his
residence.
He
was born
June 21,
1915 at
Shepherdstown,
W.Va., and
was the
son of
Henry Neal
Fraley and
Virginia
Swope
Fraley
Frick.
He
was a
retired
stone
mason with
the
Harpers
Ferry
National
Park.
He was a
veteran
of World
War II,
serving in
the U.S.
Army.
He
was a
member of
the
Brunswick
Moose
Lodge No.
1582, a
life
member of
the
Fraternal
Order of
Eagles
Aerie No.
1136, a
life
member of
Steadman-Kennan
Post No.
96 of the
American
Legion and
a member
of the
Fraternal
Order of
Police.
He is
survived
by his
wife of 52
years,
Betty Lee
Fraley, at
home; one
son, John
W. Fraley
of Bunker
Hill,
W.Va.; one
stepson,
Howard
Phillips
of Bunker
Hill,
W.Va.; and
one
brother,
Willis
Fraley of
Falling
Waters,
W.Va.
In
addition
to his
parents,
he was
preceded
in death
by his
stepfather,
three
sisters
and three
brothers.
Services
will be
held at 11
a.m. on
Saturday,
Sept. 8,
at the
John T.
Williams
Funeral
Home, 100
Petersville
Road,
Brunswick,
with the
Rev. Dean
Pryor
officiating.
Interment
will be in
Pleasant
View
Memory
Gardens in
Martinsburg,
W.Va.
The
family
will
receive
friends
from 7 to
9 p.m. on
Thursday
and Friday
at the
funeral
home.
