Robert
"Pops"
Willis
Foreback,
of
Winchester,
Va.
and
formerly
of
Purcellville,
Va.,
died
July
7,
2005
in
Winchester
Medical
Center
at age
77.
Pops
was
born
October
14,
1927
in
Brunswick,
Md. to
the
late
William
and
Adlai
Foreback.
He was
also
preceded
in
death
by one
son,
Timothy
M.
Foreback,
and
two
brothers,
Howard
and
Charles
Foreback.
Pops
retired
after
40
years
of
service
with
VDOT,
he was
a life
member
of the
Purcellville
Volunteer
Fire
Company
and
member
of the
Purcellville
American
Legion
and
the
Purcellville
Baptist
Church.
He is
survived
by
sons,
Robert
C.
Foreback
of
Inwood,
W.Va.,
Victor
Foreback
of
Charles
Town,
W.Va.,
Michael
Foreback
of
Stephens
City,
Va.,
and
Sammy
Foreback
of
Flint
Hill,
Va.;
daughter,
Tina
Hummer
of
Winchester,
Va.;
brother,
Donald
Foreback
of
Houston,
Texas;
sisters,
Helen
Minnick
of
Brunswick,
Md.
and
Anna
Dawson
of
Brunswick,
Md.;
ten
grandchildren
and
five
great
grandchildren.
The
family
will
receive
friends
Sunday,
July
10
from
2-4
p.m.
at
Hall
Funeral
Home
of
Purcellville,
Va.
Services
will
be
held
at the
funeral
home
on
Monday
July
11 at
11
a.m.
with
interment
following
in
Riding
Chapel
United
Methodist
Church
Cemetery
in
Stephens
City,
Va.
Memorial
contributions
may be
given
to the
Purcellville
Volunteer
Fire
Company
or the
Purcellville
Baptist
Church.
