Served in the Korean War as a pilot, flying 75 missions in the F-51. Returned to the States, serving in the Ferrying Command out of Dover AFB. Transferred to Andrews AFB as a test pilot. Received sewveral Air Medals and Distinguished Flying Cross |
Briefly What Happened Since Leaving School Hired by Eastern Air Lines in 1955. Served as ALPA chirman of local union in Washington, D. C. Served as Safety Officer. Flew Captain for 27 years of the 30 years I worked for Eastern. Also flew for the New Jersey National Guard and Maryland National Guard for 12 years after returning home from service. Upon retirement from Eastern I instructed in the Air Bus (A-300) and the L-1011 for two years. oten going to Europe to instruct. Retired to Florida where Connie and I lived for 10 years, returning to "good ole Virginy" where we now reside living near our family |
