| Briefly What Happened Since Leaving School
Worked for Navy department in D.C. and at the Pentagon from 1942 to 1947. Married December 30, 1946 in Burkittsville, MD. Followed my husband (a sailor) to Norfolk, VA, Washington state; San Diego, CA, where our first son was born. Moved to Jacksonville, FL, Patuxent River, MD. Our second son was born at Bethesda Naval Hospital. Third at Patuxent River. Moved to Jacksonville, FL then to Sanford, FL, where our daughter was born at Orlando Air Force Base. My husband retired in 1958. We stayed in Winter Park, FL, where we owned a grocery store until 1972. Moved to Naples, FL in 1972. I retired September 30, 1986 after thirteen and one-half years as a Deputy Clerk in the Misdemeanor Division of County Court. My husband passed away March 31, 1996. January 9, 1998 I had a four way by-pass. March 19, 1998 I had a pacemaker. Now living with my daughter and her husband and son. No pictures available. |
