Briefly What Happened Since Leaving School I worked as a billing clerk - Washington, DC for the B&O RR. During WWII I worked as a departmental clerk at Fairchild Aircraft, Hagerstown, MD. I returned to Washington DC to work with the B&O during wartime until I married in 1944. I went to Wendover Utah with my husband where we lived until the end of the war in 1945. Our first son was born on the Air Base in Wendover. Upon returning to Hagerstown, we had two more sons and a daughter. I remained a wife & mother until my oldest sons last year of college, when I worked in the office of Orkin Exterminators in Hagerstown for a year. Since that time I've enjoyed being a house-wife. I've been active in church work, twice traveling to Chile, SA to help physically build churches. I'm at present enjoying bowling duckpins on a senior league and just enjoying life in general |
